Mrs. Coyeatte Ewing
Students A-K, Grades 11-12
Mrs. Coyeatte Ewing is in her 17th year at Glendale as Guidance Counselor; this year for students grades 11-12 with last names A-K. Coyeatte earned her Master’s of Science in Guidance and Counseling from MSU (SMSU) in May 1998. Prior to counseling, Coyeatte taught students with disabilities for eleven years. Mrs. Ewing will be the junior counselor this year. She also coordinates the city’s All-Youth Relay for Life and works with Glendale's Youth Against Cancer (YAC). This October she and her husband will celebrate twenty-seven years of marriage. They have two children: Erica, 19, will begin her second year of college; and Briley, 17, will be a junior in high school this school year.
Mrs. Jeanene Gerhardt
Freshman and Sophomore Counselor, Grade 9 & 10
Mrs. Jeanene Gerhardt is in her second year at Glendale working with Freshmen and now Sophomores too. She has spent seven years at a middle school preparing students for high school, and is excited to be at the high school level. She received her undergraduate degree in eduction at Evangel University and a Master's Degree at MSU in Guidance and Counseling. Mrs. Gerhardt is married and has two children in high school. She enjoys reading, going to the lake, and traveling.
Mrs. Debbie Presson
Freshman and Sophomore Students, Grades 9 & 10
Mrs. Debbie Presson is the Counselor for Freshman and Sophomore students. This is Mrs. Presson's first year at Glendale, but has been in school counseling for twelve years. Mrs. Presson received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from College of the Ozarks, her Master’s in Counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, and her Educational Specialist in Counselor Education from Southeast Missouri State University. Mrs. Presson enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Tamara White
Students L-Z, Grades 11-12
Mrs. White is in her 7th year at Glendale as Guidance Counselor and 15 as a counselor overall. She recieved her undergraduate degree in Physical Education K-12 as well as her Masters in Secondary School Counseling from Southwest Missouri State (MSU). Mrs. White is married and has two daughters. She enjoys life through all it's ups and downs and looks forward to learning something new each day.
